Yes, using the NHS EPS (Electronic Prescription Service) you can nominate where your GP sends any prescriptions.

I'd rather fill in a paper form to register, can I do this?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer this service, however, we are constantly looking to improve and are exploring ways to effectively implement this registration method.

What if my surgery doesn’t allow pharmacies to order my prescriptions on my behalf?

Some surgeries choose not to allow third parties or pharmacies to order prescriptions on behalf of one of their patients. Call us on 01744 813 306 if you would like us to check for you.

If your surgery does not allow third-party prescription ordering, our site can still help you keep track of when to order your prescriptions. Just order your prescription as normal, your doctor will send it to us electronically and we will deliver it to your door for free.

What happens once I've registered?

Once you’ve registered for an account you can set up repeat prescriptions, single NHS prescriptions, purchase over the counter medication, manage payments and exemptions and track your orders.

Are you part of the NHS?

No, we are an independent pharmacy and provide services for NHS patients. Our pharmacy profile is listed here  https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/other-services/pharmacies/profile/10917684

We were set up by a specialised team at Allied Pharmacies HQ as an independent online pharmacy to supply a range of pharmacy services to people across the UK including pharmacy medications, prescriptions, toiletries, vitamins and healthcare advice.

How are you regulated and monitored?

As with all online pharmacies we are regulated and monitored by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The GPC is an independent regulator for pharmacies, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, including both online pharmacies and traditional pharmacy stores. Their job is to endure that the public can have faith in their pharmacy by holding us to the highest standards.

How do I request access to the personal information you hold about me?

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (Data Protection Act, 2018), you have the right to request any personal information we hold about you as an organisation. If you wish to request a paper or digital copy of your data, contact us through info@ipharm.co.uk or on 01744 813 306. You will need to give adequate information to allow us to identify you and you will need to provide a full photo ID before we can release any information.

The CQC is the independent regulator for all health and social care services in the UK. They monitor, inspect and regulate those services and publish their results to enable you to find the best quality care.
